2/23/25 - On Sundays, I am at 60 Main Arts, a new little gallery in Jeffersonville, VT, and I always try to set up a still life and do a painting. Here’s today’s offering using watercolor, casein, gouache, and pastel pencil. #paintingfromlife #stilllifepainting #vermontgallery #winslowartstudio
My painting, “Sunflowers”, is currently hanging in the window of 60 Main Arts in Vermont. It is a 48”x24” oil on panel that was painted from life. Since sunflowers have been used to show support for Ukraine, it seems appropriate. Standing with Ukraine. #standingwithukraine #oilpainting #vermont

2/4/25 - I spread out all of the work I did, for the Strada Easel Challenge (minus 1), on the studio floor. Then, I stood on a chair to take these photos. The final tally was 13 drawings, using a combination of watercolor, gouache, pastel pencil, and fountain pen, and 18 oil sketches. 31 in all.

Hello from Vermont! Because I am an artist, I will be posting artwork. Simple enough. I am currently participating in the Strada Easel Challenge, which is a daily paint from life challenge. It lasts for the entire month of January. Are there any other artists doing this challenge?
