Writing essays (wish I could be like Clive James), read (mostly fiction, but also essays), football (the real type) and rugby, Coursera and all the courses available, music of all types, especially when the lyrics are good
Makes me sick to be represented by these people

Can we not tread our own path? Do we have to do what other nations do?

I'm glad we have people more optimistic than I am. Seriously. Reminds me about the good bits. But being better than the coalition is a low bar. There's Aukus, sucking up to Trump, NACC, FOI, the number of fossil fuel projects, the multinationals not paying tax, not funding research etc

Perhpas I'm just better because they haven't lived up my expectations: they had so much promise on the way in....

Chris Bowen bagging the coalition on coal? He doesn't mention how many coal mines have been given the go-ahead by Labor. But that would spoil his message.
Fact is, there's no real difference between the two parties. Even Albo's smile is starting to look like Scomo's smirk or is that just me?

That photo makes me 🤮

BRAVE? Remember how Minister Jim Hacked responded to news his actions would be brave?
Here we have Minister/PM Hacker without a spine

Our president has spoken and we have done his bidding. We have ceded our sovereignty.

Very Trump

The issue of the times at the moment seems to be social cohesion. Meantime, our representatives provide no example with their behaviour in and out of parliament.

Remember that wonderful day when the Coalition was voted out and things looked so clean and new and hopeful?
What a disappointment this lot are: albo, penny, Tanya, Marles: can’t bear to see them any more
November 6, 2025 at 10:18 AM
Yeah, but what do they call "working"?
November 5, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Look, @albomp, you probably wouldn’t pass a working with children check because you’ve been rubbing shoulders with and sucking up to a crook who has raped women and protects pedophiles. Until you distance yourself from him please don’t go near our schools. Or am I being too harsh?
November 5, 2025 at 9:04 AM
Yep, it's our job to make sure these are remembered
November 4, 2025 at 11:38 PM
Makes one sick. There's an ABC program on, or soon to be on, where these hypocrites talk about Australia's "democracy" and parliamentary systems.
Honestly, how could anyone bear to listen to them

And Adam Smith know what they were like
November 2, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Colour her exploitative. The thing is, Adam Smith knew that there would be people like her and all her fellow billionaires:

So Venezuelan has oil. Nigeria has oil. Where next? Saudi Arabia? Norway?
November 1, 2025 at 10:57 PM
TBH, I think most societies (if not countries) would be quite content for them to leave
