In 2025, The Kwek Society distributed over 758,000 period products to Indigenous students & their peers. Our goal for 2026 is to distribute more products to help end period poverty & to deliver 10M period products by the end of 2028--our 10th year of operations! Join us 👇🏾

Thanks to our amazing team of volunteer seamsters, The Kwek Society was able to deliver over 10,000 moon time and Auntie bags, plus period education books to schools all across Turtle Island (the US)!

The Kwek Society supported 240+ schools and programs with period products, moon time & Auntie bags, and period education materials in 2025. That's more than any other year in our history.

This fall, Bras for Girls, our super-charged nonprofit partner, hit a milestone–they delivered 200,000 sports bras to athletes around the world! More than 10,000 of those bras were provided to the students and community members we support.

Indigenous students are disproportionally affected by period poverty, especially if they live on reservations far from grocery stores. Some even miss up to a week of school each month because they can't access period products.

Indigenous women, just like all women, deserve menstrual support.

Many Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island (the US) celebrate and honor their first menstrual cycles with a berry fast to mark their transition to womanhood.
