I honestly think Dems went wrong worrying about saying who pays the tariff. It literally does not matter who pays. It will be passed onto the consumer regardless. They needed to clarify the difference of impact between a tariff and a business tax, which is significant.

It depends on what you define “evil” as. A lot of the world’s problems are caused by greed. Yeah, there are some compromises but many problems are solely cause by greed and selfishness.

It sets a very bad precedent that allies only get help if they can pay. This breaks fine diplomacy completely.

And none of DeepSeek’s claims about cost, which are almost certainly false, have been verified. You can build a better AI but you don’t just have unlimited memory for free, which they seem to have.

At least there’s a reasonable amount of Spanish content. I use it for Italian and Romanian. Those are tiny.

I agree but I think instead of playing a blame game, we should maybe try to appeal to those voters instead of boldly proclaiming we’ll have “the most lethal military.” I voted for Harris but that line made my stomach turn and zero Republicans voted for her because of it.
