I unfortunately read a lot of not-great books! However, I loved Black AF History, A Dark and Secret Magic, and Room Swept Home (a poetry collection). What are yours?

I find “pockets of peace” in the moments my characters have together, whether they’re baking, enjoying a cup of tea, or sharing stories. However, there’s always an unsettling undercurrent that can hit at any moment. It’s a lot of fun to write!
