I’m so honored to receive the Rural Health Impact Award - but I’m just translating the vision of the PA Health Hub Secretaries, inspired by a large number of regional rural health summit organizers and work group leaders - they are the future of rural healthcare in Pennsylvania!!

Today, and every day, we honor America’s veterans. This means more than words. It means action— to stand firmly against attempts to dismantle or defund the care they’ve earned and the services they deserve. When we fight for science, we stand up for our vets and for the VA. #VeteransDay

Standing with veterans goes beyond just one day in November. It means fighting for year-round support and full funding at the VA for critical research to improve future care.

Yet, the VA under Trump is crumbling. Our vets deserve more than a gutted system, long waits, and shuttered clinics.

In light of the flooding in Texas, some think it is inappropriate to point out that Trump is gutting NOAA, The National Weather Service & wants to eliminate FEMA. Accidents & unforeseen events happen but nobody should die due to government neglect so rich people can get tax cuts.
