There are so many UK/EU mixed families like ours (inc many ex servicemen who lived and fell in love overseas like myself) that now live in limbo - EU directive 2004/38 art6 gives hope but at whim of border guards. Look it up if in similar position.

Danish wife of 25+ years/ son living in Denmark with partner. I am now limited to 90/180 - what happens if they have kids and I bust my 90 days wanting to be with grandkids? Feel gutted. The EU rules on family reunification are minefield and for permanent moves - not for the flexibility we once had.
