I’m a part time librarian and I just want to echo what I’ve seen other librarians say recently: there is a HUGE uptick in requests for social justice, climate justice, abolition, history, etc books and I just want to say nobody is giving up the fight. If anything people are fighting harder #library

Must remember this. Take mental health days away from the news cycle if the shitstorm of the current administration gets too much. I am, for sure. Limiting consumption of live media coverage saved my sanity from 2015 to 2021. My heart goes out to those that lost loved ones in the crash yesterday.
Sometimes, you have to step away from the shitstorm. There's a lot to take in right now, so take care of yourself first. This shit will wear you down. Don't allow it.
