Yes, there is no patriotism in critique, we must all love dear leader, no matter how badly they fuck up. even if their failure results in the death of our country, it would be rude to hold anyone accountable! Certainly there is nothing to learn and no steps to take. Yay for the status quo!

That's fair if you wanna call it. For what it's worth I at least appreciate your acknowledgement of the seriousness of the situation in Gaza even if we disagree on the actions of the previous administration. At least we can agree on that and wanting a better future for them.

I agree that Hamas is an unreasonable party and I'm not going to waste either of our time with that, But I believe that hamas is the dominant party because of the conditions within Gaza, and that hamas cannot be reasonably destroyed or brought to heal without the end of the occupation

The defensive measures for gazans were the international aid foundations that were trying to put themselves between Israel and their victims but Israel just slaughtered them indiscriminately too and Biden didn't do a fucking thing about that either.

"Yeah actually we have to pay billions every year so that the fascist ethnostate can continue to colonise it's occupied territory, if we do anything to make that untenable that's basically just saying you think they should all be killed"
August 1, 2025 at 12:53 AM
I haven't asked you to put up with more dead bodies, I asked for Israel to fund it's own defense if they insist on invading and bombing their neighbors every day for two years. Why can't you argue with my actual position instead of these absurd strawmen

Okay dude, whatever you say. I guess these journalists just didn't have the level of access to the Biden White house that you did.

Yeah, fair point. I just want to see the party held accountable for their failings. I think the Democrats could learn a huge amount from Black activism all throughout American history, frankly.

To pretend that the starvation and ethnic cleansing has only been under trump is ahistorical. It was happening before October seventh but was massively increased only days after. You had Israeli government officials talking about starving them as little as three days afterwards
August 1, 2025 at 12:38 AM
It would put actual pressure on the government of Israel to find the money from their own coffers, which would mean cuts to social services and an increase in distaste for the war. At the very least I don't want my taxes going towards killing children.

Providing defensive weapons allows the Israeli government to act with impunity because they know that they are shielded from consequence. We should provide them nothing. Israel does not have the capacity to produce the weapons necessary to continue the war and even if they did...

Like genuinely, is it not possible to have distaste for the handling of Gaza and LGBT issues?
August 1, 2025 at 12:27 AM
I think it's reasonable to have issues with the way harris and Jefferies are acting without being racist lmao, they are failing the moment because they are Democrats, not because they are black.
August 1, 2025 at 12:27 AM
The idea that their campaign was built on progressive values is laughable, they were on stage with dick Cheney and Bill Clinton while they talked down to the voter base about how killing little Arab babies was good because their parents were terrorists
July 31, 2025 at 11:57 PM
I don't think you can point to a considerably progressive legacy without glazing over the fact that this administration also facilitated a genocide against an occupied people, completely caved on immigration to the right, and she personally refused to take a strong stance on transgender rights.

The frustration has nothing to do with race, chuck schumer is white as sin and just as much (if not more) controlled by corporate and old money lobbies that want to defend the status quo. We need to expect more fight from our leadership!
July 31, 2025 at 10:24 PM
Only if her rhetoric was as pathetic and unserious as Jefferies, but given that her entire campaign was built around courting Republicans and pushing away the progressive wing, you're probably correct.
July 31, 2025 at 10:20 PM
You and people like you are wreckers here to dismantle any coalition of people who expect anything more than handwaving from our government. You are not prepared for the political moment we are in and your weakness will get good people hurt. You are as much the enemy as any of them, coward.
July 10, 2025 at 12:48 AM
For FOUR YEARS the Dems held power after Jan 6th and the first trump presidency and not only did they fail to do anything, they practically rolled out the red carpet for him by failing the moment so horribly. You're not just covering for failure, you're participating in it by making excuses for them

This looks amazing! Sick!
