the lesson im getitng from this is that i need to pivot back to books outside of the romance genre and live off delusion and fantasy. lately In Memoriam has given me more gooner fujo fuel than 5/5 spice level books ever did

the lessons learned from that is 1) the girlies reading these would have benefitted from a fanfic phase, 2) many plots are surprisingly sexist, like male writer "she breasted boobily" level, and 3) u could literally make captain hook a dark, brooding, tattooed tumblr sexyman and it will be eaten UP
