I suspect this may be the reason we haven't seen more measles cases in Yellowstone County, especially after the major exposure event this summer. Although shaming has been often used by doctors to motivate people, I think we've reached the point where it's become more detrimental than effective.

But calling this law "medical freedom" is a misnomer and misleading. Those who choose to be unvaccinated aren't free from getting infected or experiencing severe illnesses from those infections. They are just free from any legal consequences when they spread diseases to others.
