I have no mouth and I must yodel.
Watching an old Crossing the Streams by @loadingreadyrun.com and had to sketch one of their Jackbox shirts (OG art by Cori)

Having a day full of things breaking, bad moods and worries.
Thought I'd cram them all into a sketch and get 'em out of my head.

I spent the morning making an Olive Sapling to see if my years in Substance Designer and SpeedTree would transfer to Blender

Mesh used the Sapling Tree Gen extension, the Mat is a procedural node network, the leaf was hand painted.
The BG is the nice Abandoned Slipway EXR from PolyHaven.

Wow, wasn't expecting to be in the first million. I think that's the earliest I've ever joined a site.

Alright I'm starting to get a handle on HiPaint and some of its features.
So on a sporadically drizzly day I made a Pacific Northwest Wallpaper.

Testing out HiPaint on Android. It's almost a clone of Procreate.
Getting smooth strokes is difficult for me. There's a function if you pause your stroke it'll convert to a curve and give you control points.
I still prefer Krita, but this might be worth practicing with to add to the skill set.

Comyn played so much he fell asleep on April's Stegosaurus toy. She is NOT AMUSED.

Did some painting practice today. I wanted to do a material study of some old iron ingots and made a challenge to just use default brushes in Krita without any texture overlays.

So I just found out I need surgery for Ulnar Nerve Compression in both my elbows and most likely will need more surgery on my right shoulder. As someone who uses their arms a lot this has me a little apprehensive.
Fun times.

Anyway, here's a little flesh bulb named Steve.

Either this or a nameless Red-Shirt.
Probably would have more fun as a Tribble :D

Learning Blender sculpting is a lot more fun than Zbrush IMO.

Got Inspired by "We Bob Art" going over some Rebelle 6 features.
His is MUCH better, but I like what I did.
Rebelle's doing fantastic things with paint mixing & making it feel like you're using natural mediums.
The last version I used was 4. 7 is coming out next month. Can't wait to try that out!

Tried a challenge of painting with the photoshop oil brushes with a 2 hour timer.
This was more relaxing than I thought even with the time limit.
I love painting clouds and water so any excuse is great!

I've been working on this while my shoulder allows me to.
I like how the plinth came out. A grunge brush & some carving w/ the lasso tool.
Need to work on highlights w/out making everything look wet.
Overall I'm happy with the result.

My warm up for the day.
My wrist pain is starting to get better and my inability to focus is starting to go away.
I'm happy with this, it's a lot better than a year ago. Not as good as 5 years ago, but baby steps right?

So I can still make a finger gun!
When prepping vegetables for a Sweet Potato Corn and Chicken chowder make sure to use the mandolin on the potato not your finger and thumb.
