Someone told me this about procrastination: accept it as part of the creative process because without it we wouldn't able to get the result we actually get. While procrastinating we (subconsciously) think about the piece and its process and that's actually very productive in it's own way.

somehow learning my art turns out better when i spend less time and effort on it, which seems counterintuitive, but at its core, means i don't have to put so much pressure on myself to be "perfect"
