It’s def a bummer. At least the Studio Mag “Cuty Haney” doujin shows us what a potential 80s anime adaptation would’ve been like. (Has key frames, storyboards, illustrations, it’s awesome!) some of the material is… questionable (diving into straight up hentai) so maybe that’s where it fell off
