I have been a software developer for over 30 yrs and learned COBOL in college in the mid-1980s. I am not prone to hyperbole when I say that converting a complex system like social security from COBOL to anything else will take years. It is a complicated system and its conversion cannot be rushed.

A wonderful reminder of how much I love my Electric Vehicle. It takes about two seconds to plug it in while standing inside the garage at the end of the day. So much nicer.

Spent the day at the Waukesha Sustainability Fair today talking about EVs and Solar Panels. That’s my Bolt EV on the right. Had a lot of fun talking about things to help our planet. I even got an excellent plant-based burger from Twisted Plants. Yum.
