You can add Canada, Mexico and Australia to that list. Waiting to see cancellation of F35 contracts. Also, when these countries find new trading partners, they aren’t coming back anytime soon. It will take decades to restore trust.

In Trump’s first term there were guard rails and competent leaders to deter him. Now there are toadies and no guard rails. Yesterday, he indicated he was prepared to initiate a recession, so the markets may not even be a deterrent. I hope you are right, but that feels like wistful thinking now.
