Planted two pawpaw trees in my backyard a couple weeks ago—roots looked decent, but the trees themselves were pretty dry. Followed all the planting instructions… now just playing the waiting game. Anyone know how long before I see signs of life?

The Harney Street bridge is completely gone—a strange sight after riding my bike over it countless times to and from work. It’s being rebuilt to accommodate the new (and controversial) streetcar that will eventually connect UNMC, Blackstone, and downtown. 🚲🚧

Valentine’s dinner with my wonderful wife at Pueblo Bonito on 88th & Maple in Omaha. This place has probably become my favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Saw this “Morkie” in this space-suit lookin’ backpack at Sam’s Club. I wasn’t sure what to think because it looked very confined, but it was having such a good time and he was so happy to be there. A “Morkie” is a cross between a Maltese and a Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie). ❤️🐾🧑🚀

Second day of 2025 bike commuting to the office! With Blackstone a disaster, I took Dewey to Turner Blvd, then Harney—perfect for this unseasonably warm 50° day. Next week’s sub-zero temps mean switching to my electric car (my cutoff is 20°). Happy Friday, friends! 🚴♂️ #BikeCommuting #BicycleLife
