Uhhh. Guy is sitting on the ground and not making any movement to get up. He basically dove at him and created helmet to helmet contact on a defenseless player when simply putting a fingertip on him would have officially ended the play.

Won’t disagree with Booker’s possible intent. When you know you’re gonna get flagged for soft BS, why not bring the heat and actually earn the flag? Again, a natural consequence of a 0 tolerance policy. It has become almost impossible to hit QBs w/o penalty. Thus, no incentive to try avoiding them.

I think QBs realize that the rule is so soft right now that if they can make a tiny movement to force contact on their helmet, and be guaranteed a huge 15 yard penalty. It’s a natural consequence of a zero tolerance policy, when even the slightest glancing blow of a fingertip produces 15 & a 1st.

He likely doesn’t get concussed if he keeps his head up. It just would have been a hard hit to the upper chest. I wonder if he did it deliberately, knowing it would draw an immediate flag. Like subtly stepping into an inside pitch to try and draw a HBP.

Love lowered his head once Booker was already airborne. He asked for it. Nothing the defender can do differently at that point.
And cheap shots? How about blindsiding DJ Moore at the beginning of the game? At least we had the decency to hit Love from the front where he could see it coming.

I haven’t had Prime Video until a few weeks ago, so this is only news to me, but I clearly missed when Kirk became a regular NFL broadcaster. He is truly awful. Why on earth haven’t they replaced him with someone who has at least some grasp of the NFL game?

A number of the game's best OCs have realized that running effectively really matters. It's safer, leads to big time of possession margins, and really wears the D down, which makes them very vulnerable in late game situations. And it keeps QBs healthier. The league got too pass-happy for a while.

Makes perfect sense. The only people I know who still use Twitter only do so because they built up a very useful array of accounts to follow, and for whatever reason, those accts haven't migrated elsewhere. So, they stay.

Hard to imagine THIS Bears team doing worse than at least splitting against GB. It feels weird to say that, but especially after losing Wyatt- GB is going to have problems with the Bears run game. And Love’s prayer balls will get picked off by an eager & opportunistic Bears secondary.

$10 says they take over last-mile delivery for all densely populated areas, and don’t do it for sparsely populated ones. That would leave only the least profitable work to USPS, and then people will bitch again about how USPS isn’t profitable enough, even though they do the work that no corp will.
