It doesn't follow the same pattern of over-exaggerated detail of the other monochrome illustrations but it is still my favorite for being associated with hands down the hypest character 'introduction.'

Something that I've really come to like are the Light novel illustrations of the Lord of the Mysteries physical book.
They're kind of fascinating to look at, even if it's hard af to understand what's going on.

After dropping it for years, I've been on a Toaru Majutsu no Index deep-dive recently. Many things I could say but I want to highlight what a powerhouse protagonist Touma is.
