maybe I'm lucky but it only takes my brain a few seconds to get back into qwerty mode, and I've never had the urge to modify a laptop keyboard: the key caps are still in stock layout and the layout switch is done at the OS level. passwords and non words are a little harder.

I switched in the summer of 1997 and don't regret it; go for it.
