So long as you have a Raspberry Pi or spare old PC handy, it's very easy. PiHole and AdGuard Home both act as locally hosted DNS content blockers, and are distributed as containers via Docker. I have my Raspberry Pi running "Home Assistant OS" which lets you add containers ("Add-ons") very easily:

Dunno if I have the motivation to continue this iOS 19 mockup, but thought I'd share it anyway

Caught mid-yawn

Already made some designs for an "OS", but with 0 experience with embedded platforms, I might be out of my depth here lol
A 320x240 mockup "screenshot" of a modern feature phone, or simple smartphone-like operating system. There's a clock in the top left, with some system indicator icons in the top right like 4G, signal and battery. Along the bottom edge is a dock of 6 icons, a green "phone" app, a green "messaging" app, a blue "email" app, an orange "files" app, and a yellow "tv" app. The last button in the row displays a 3x3 grid on a white icon which would open a full screen view of all available apps. The background of the mockup is green and yellow, displaying transparent glass-like material shapes gently overlapped, and could be described as frutiger aero/frutiger aurora in style.

Fucking hate these braided Apple cables. They get so dirty even if you do so much as breathe in the same room as them. At least the old plastic/rubber cables could be cleaned fairly well, these just get yellow with no way to rectify
A braided MagSafe cable that has been in use for many years, and a new braided USB-C cable plugged in to the same MacBook Pro next to each other. The braided MagSafe cable is visibly dirty, a yellowish brown colour staining the fabric that should otherwise be white, along the length of the cable, with darker areas where it’s common for your fingers to touch when inserting/removing the cable. The newer braided USB-C cable is pure white, visualising a stark difference between the two.

A limited edition suica card from the 100th anniversary of Tokyo station. Text on the card reads “Tokyo Station, 100 years. 1914-2014, 12.20”. The card is beige with a graphic in the middle which looks like the main entrance of Tokyo station coloured on a manhole cover. There’s a Suica logo in the bottom right of the card.
