Good ol' Captain Claw's 2D platforming goodness was published in February of 1998 in Japan by Takarajimasha.

Apart from the dubbed cutscenes/voice of Claw, and some menu translations, there's a major gameplay change to make the game much easier - all crumbling/fading platforms are forever solid!

Literally the most reliable storage media ever, what could possibly go wrong

Man, I know these had quite a bad rep back in the day when Iomega decided to entshittify later models, but I absolutely love the earlier ZIP-100 ones.

After a mere one fixing/tinkering session, It Just Works™. Next to network cards, it's a very comfy way of quickly moving files between retro PCs

The *real* analog horror is the amount of time you have to spend on these to properly fix, clean and maintain them.... as well as a mutitude of tiny little fragile parts uuuuuuuugh

Decided to spend some more time on the palmcorder today, and I might've replaced/fixed some more stuff along the way...

Behold, now you can enjoy True Analog Parrots™ with correct light and colour balance!

Analog horror? Nah, it's just a nice analog stroll in the woods

The weather today was too nice not to go out and give a little test to the new thing I got and "fixed" recently

I know I've said it already but god damn, for a 1999 early digital camera, it absolutely excels at such zoomed in shots. 10/10, chef's kiss.

I was meaning to check the English translation/performance patch for the Final Fantasy 1 MSX port anyway, and now that I have a working VCR, I decided to go one step further...

Including floppy disk load times, VHS noise and FM audio. Played on Panasonic FS-A1WX
