bad writing/art is subjective. i fucking hate tyler perry and would consider it more unimaginative writing. i'd say murphy is convoluted and a bit drawn out with too many unnecessary subplots but structurally, its sound and can engage his targeted audience...as for quan millz...LOL LOL LOL
