The Palestine Day: the struggle for freedom, sovereignty, and humanity is far from over. My support stands firmly with those who seek a life free from occupation, fear, and dispossession. Justice for Palestine is not a slogan; it is a moral commitment to uphold humanity wherever it is threatened. 🇵🇸

Explaining emergence to engineers: Not just Coulomb when proton meets electron; but also quantised orbitals, photon emission, chemical bonds, molecular structure, entire branches of chemistry & biology. That cascade of higher-order properties is emergence: value created through interaction & synergy

A profoundly erroneous truism, repeated by all copy-books and by eminent people, that we should cultivate the habit of thinking what we are doing. The precise opposite: civilization advances by extending the important operations which we can perform without thinking about them. —Alfred Whitehead

Programmer’s Day falls on the 0xFF-th day of the year if you begin counting from zero, or the 0x100-th if you start from one. Even these days, I continue to write code in Modern C++ and Python, applying both to artificial intelligence and to microcontrollers. Happy Programmer’s Day!
