- Joined the club after being moved by their performance
- Super loud and hyped-up speaking style
- Very silly but gets serious when needed
- Loves candy, spicy food, flashy clothes and the mascot Kumacchi
- Short attention span
- Fears the others graduating

Haruna Wakazato (18) 🍩
- Drummer
- Was held back in school twice, joined the club to help graduate
- Had many part-time jobs before to help out his single mother
- Laid-back but helpful big brother figure
- Naturally cool
- Loves donuts a LOT
- Speaks English, but can’t read or write it

Natsuki Sakaki (17) 🎻
- Bassist
- Childhood friends with Jun, became an idol to stay beside him
- Quiet and soft-spoken, speaks slowly
- Despite his initial shyness, he's very sentimental and appreciative of his friends
- Loves cats and doting on his little sister
- Seen as mysterious

Jun Fuyumi (16) 🎹
- Keyboardist
- Childhood friends with Natsuki
- A child prodigy pianist but stopped playing after an incident
- The straight-laced voice of reason
- Helps the others with their studies
- Takes his and H×J’s work seriously
- Not-so-secretly loves cats a lot

Hayato Akiyama (17) 🎸
- Guitarist and leader
- An ordinary boy who started the band with dreams to become cool and popular
- H×J’s main composer and lyricist
- Easily moved to tears when overjoyed, but always denies it
- Likes baseball and gaming
- A very reliable and selfless leader
