I don't know if I'm a Long John Silver type freak or a Martin Short Robot type freak all these years later though

I wouldn't really call it a chief inspiration though since I rewatched it when I was in my teens looking for inspiration but it still definitely gave me some good tips on how to make cool pirate characters (I think this movie has the best version of Long John Silver in any adaptation I've seen)

yes. it's a very good movie that has certainly influenced certain works that may or may not come to fruition

i was so scared of the CGI moon spaceport zoom shot....

i've probably mentioned before that the trailer for this movie made me burst into tears in a movie theater when i was like 2 and i had to leave

based on what little i've heard.... i think it might be True.

Also this isn't a recession indicator as much as it is a recession iceberg dead ahead
