Well... 1. He's no longer the leadoff hitter, and 2. Baseball's absurd obsession with launch angle where you're only allowed to hit HRs and Ks are okay

And it looks like he's got lots of endorsement deals

He'll opt out given that Devin Williams is imploding and Aroldis Chapman isn't likely to command more than a 1 year deal. Only other FA closers are Helsley and Iglesias I think. Every player wants more guaranteed years and more $

Lol, but you know the average Met fan will be screaming, "But he doesn't hit home runs! What good is he?!" 😱

It all depends on whether Alvarez can consistently hit and be a power threat or not. If he can, then he'll get the starts. Torrens will spell him or come in for defense. Also, remember Alvarez is 23 and Torrens is 28.

Kranick is not stretched out enough to be in the rotation, unless you want him to be a 2 inning opener. AI is dumb.

Lol personally, I hope he signs nowhere 😅

🤣

Please please let AR sign with the Seahawks and not the Giants 🙏
March 10, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Well, there's a desperation trade for Cousins. Also, some analysts suggested signing Jimmy G or Mac Jones a while back 😬

Rather trade for Montgomery, but remember the cost of the contract essentially doubles with the Cohen tax.
