A beautiful day spent on the Fife Coastal Route with family. We had lunch at the beautiful Ship Inn Elie followed by ice cream in Pittenweem and then a drive through to St Andrews via Anstruther.

Who can guess from where the image above what shot?

If you look out at the moon tonight you'll see Mars to the left of it. Here you can see the red planet at the left of the frame. This was a quick catch out my loft window. Click to enlarge.

Golden hour at Boddin's lime kilns ✨⛵ The ruins stand as a reminder of the past, while abandoned sea salmon fishing boats rest beneath a sky painted with cotton-candy clouds. There's something magical about history meeting nature at sunset. 🌅💛

Beautiful Crail Harbour on a busy summer day. You can see the queue of people outside the lobster shack Reilly Shellfish. Can't wait to visit again this year. It's been a while!

Would it be controversial to suggest that this is the less aesthetically pleasing side of #Kilchurn Castle? Often shot from the field to the south of the castle I took an alternative approach the second time of visiting. Here is the #castle looking to the east of Loch Awe. #scotland #landscape

A couple of images from a last minute walk along Arbroath. Really enjoyed the cold wind and sea spray on my face and hands. The camera not so much but what's the point in babying the camera. Taken with my Canon g7xiii.

Gary Neville is a great pundit but he needs to stop commentating on the Manchester United games. So negative, he's part of the problem.

Blessed with a few fantastic #beaches on the east coast of #Scotland. I'm not sure how I managed to get a shot from the sky with just myself and no one else. Am glad I did though. Using myself as the subject and lots of negative space give the impression of a vast beach and #dunes

Nature at its finest 🌄 Captured this stunning moment atop Kinnoull Hill in Perthshire—a magical cloud inversion in late afternoon, with the iconic folly standing proudly above the mist. Captured this long exposure shot of the iconic Forth #Rail Bridge in #Scotland — a #UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true masterpiece of #Victorian engineering. Completed in 1890, it spans the Firth of Forth, standing strong for over 130 years.

BBC News - 'No cat ban in Scotland', John Swinney confirms
www.bbc.com/news/article...

Shame. I'd actually support a ban or greater control over cats that are allowed to roam onto other people's property, shit everywhere and eat garden birds. They're basically pests.
'No cat ban in Scotland' First Minister John Swinney confirms
The first minister rules out the idea after experts suggest ways to reduce the impact domestic cats have on wildlife.

Had a quick wander along the beach yesterday evening just after sunset with my little G7XIII and tried some "irritable camera movement" style images ;) Actually kinda like it

This was the last photograph I took after the planetary photo posted earlier. probably only time I'll shoot swans accidentally under the moonlight.

Venus sparkling to the right of the frame just next to the 3rd set of pillars in the pier.

I managed to capture four planets (Mars, Jupiter, Uranus and Venus) and the moon the other night when we had clear skies. But the thing I enjoyed most was the complete silence of being in the middle of the countryside bathed in the moonlight ❤️❤️❤️

Located at the mouth of the River Tay, it once guided countless sailors safely through the waters. Designed by the famed Scottish engineer James Leslie, this lighthouse is a poignant reminder of Dundee's rich connection to the sea.

Some images from last night's Dundee Hooley Torchlit Procession through the centre of Dundee. It's so good to see the city centre come alive in the way it has this holiday period.

Early morning, opened the curtains and saw a quick composition forming. So ran out into my garden in my pjs to get a quick photograph. Lucky my feet didn't stick to the frost 😂

Some forest walk moments captured with my G7xiii point and shoot. A handy wee camera to have in the pocket when traveling light or when I can't be arsed carrying too much gear.

Visit Broughty Ferry had their Christmas Lights turn on last night. Another successful event! It was quite windy so I spent a bit of time walking around enjoying the event till the wind calmed down a bit and it was safe to get the drone up in the sky.
