Ya it's not your typical girl gets dragon becomes badass fighter. I did find it hard to read all the racist conceptions of the Anglish, bc it's very analogous to real life but I think the author is trying to explore these themes as an alternative where the natives "won" & fought out of oppression.

Rookie error. Starting a book without the next one handy and another reason I'm glad I read on an e-reader as if I'm not sure about the series I can very easily purchase book 2 and start immediately. I am terrible at waiting lol.

I get that they're people with families too but it's crazy how they can just go on leave and leave their clients in the lurch during the holiday period when that's one of the most emotional times for a lot of people.

Ridiculous how expensive it is to travel short distances. They REALLY need to look at redoing the fares to make them fairer.

The problem is the location of it. I'm pretty sure mines on the bottom of my scooter as there's no stickers elsewhere on it. Not exactly keen on flipping it upside down on a crowded train to view it considering it's 20kg.

Not all serial numbers will be barcodes. I'd argue that serial numbers are just a string of letters and numbers. Can google those. All AO will be walking around with their phone. Or maybe their Myki scanner can connect to a web browser idk.

I imagine legal ebikes would have a serial number of some sorts that could be looked up for confirmation. Whereas converted ones will not.

Not a cancer survivor but I work in cancer as admin and I totally understand when patients decide they're done w/ treatment. It's fucking rough. Its sad yeah but understandable.

That's kinda crazy. Most months I don't even use my whole plan. tho my plan data doesn't bank. All of that is literally from freebies haha.

I have no idea what I would do if I ever ran out. Thankfully that seems impossible with 1.4TB in the data bank and a 55gb plan.

We also have the psych inpt building near us too and there's a bench (equipped with no smoking sign) that the psych staff seem to tell patients they're allowed to go smoke/vape at. It's so gross. Security do nothing too.

I work in cancer outpatients. We have a laneway that comes past our building close to the entrance. I see so many people smoking in the laneway. Which IS hospital property (unlike the sidewalk out the front) so they're doing a very big no no lol.

Yeah. But bc of the depot it could be argued as a loop. But I agree I wouldn't count it.
