Cullen Is My Name
@kuh-len.bsky.social
I’m shortish, and oldish, and brownish, and mossy. And I speak with a voice that is sharpish and bossy.
I just want to wipe his face. He looks like a fucking clown, and I hate clowns.

I heard Putin was complaining about his house being attacked. Is he not aware that he is at war? Has he not ordered attacks on houses and hospitals? What makes him think he’s immune to the effects of a war he started?

A pox on ALL his houses. A drone strike for every mansion, every shithole.

I bet people would like him a bit more if he stopped shitting in his pants. Just a bit though.

That man is not more interesting than my morning stool.

Deacon Blackfire. Adapt the Cult, add in Killer croc living in the sewers being used as additional muscle.

Unrelated, but Adebayo’s business card from s2e1 has me excited with this very QUESTIONable silhouette. Foreshadowing? Will she be the DCU’s Renee Montoya??

?

Loving the show!

One up Mamdani by giving folks that wad of cash. Bonus points if it’s in a bag of chips.

They’d rather not risk upsetting the sphincter-boy in the white house.

Who ironically has no control over said sphincter, I hear he reeks.

Yeah, we’re definitely not in the buildup to authoritarianism, we’re in the midst of an authoritarian regime.

e.g. Does anyone think about what will happen to all these ICE new hires when a new administration comes in?

The answer is there WON’T BE a new administration so no worries!

Ugh.

Speech can only be limited if it is likely to incite ‘imminent lawless action,’ so yelling fire in a crowded theater likely isn’t protected speech.

But I agree with your main point.
August 2, 2025 at 1:27 AM
But they’re ILLEGAL, they’re ALIENS and it’s AGAINST the LAW for ALIENS TO BE HEAR!!!!

These motherfuckers can’t even pronounce a word if it’s more that 3 syllables so that’s why they stick to ILLEGAL because they’re little pea brains can’t comprehend nuance.

They have no idea what’s coming.

DSA is probably the future of the party. Those guys will be around for a while but they’ll have to break bread with people like you and me who do not like them and do not trust them any more.

We can’t even get these laws to apply to social media companies and their harm is DEMONSTRABLE.

It’s that pesky 1A combined with judicial inertia when it comes to going after powerful groups.

You’d be better off with a bottle of everclear and a torn t-shirt if you get my drift.

He SHOULD sue. He’s trying to take some proverbial high road that’s never truly existed.
August 1, 2025 at 8:04 PM
How do you prove harm? Lying about some numbers is one thing, but who is harmed directly by this and to what extent are they harmed?

Dominion lost money and clout (which in turn affects profitability).

But yes, you are spot on. Corporations have more rights than people since Citizens United case.

Like running on a treadmill made of diamonds, it will be expensive, take you nowhere, and be very uncomfortable.
August 1, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Well, there you go. All we can do is ignore them and inform others of their ignorance.

I think the most recent legitimate challenge to a news license was the Serafyn vs FCC case back in ‘98.

Bottom line is anything’s possible but it’s a historically high bar and I don’t think suing some fake news BS that probably isn’t registered as news anyway would be in any way beneficial.
August 1, 2025 at 6:52 PM
The FCC's news distortion policy has historically emphasized a high bar for proving deliberate fabrication or intentional distortion, rather than simply presenting a particular point of view or criticism.
