10) If you only are healing one person, don't spam right click. The orbs don't stack, so it's better to wait for the first orb to stop healing one person before sending another.

9) Learn your pylons range intuitively and/or ask your teammates if they have the rez icon above their health to make sure it's useful. Learn several spots across the maps that are well hidden but have a good radius where fights happen.

8) Slightly contradictory, but don't be afraid to remind enemies (especially tanks like Thor and Hulk) that, yes, Rocket does do a lot of damage up close.

7) Mastering evasive movement with hover, dash, and climb is necessary if they are pressuring you hard. When you're avoiding damage, don't forget to keep firing orbs both for yourself and your other support since they're likely also being pressured.

6) Only shoot things when theres literally nothing to heal. Even if your team isn't damaged, preemptively sending orbs all over is useful.

5) Always play your life, especially with pylon up. Even if they hard focus your other support, you are more important. The rez only works if you don't die first and is one of the best abilities in the game.

4) There are a few comps Rocket is best with. The best is heavy dive. If you see a Black Panther, Magik, Spider-Man, Venom, etc., those are your best Rocket games. It's very nice for the divers to have the orbs all over the map healing them. Punisher/Rocket is also really good into Groot.

3) Your number one job is to make sure your other 1 or 2 supports don't die. They have burst heal to keep tanks alive, so as long as they live, you're doing your job. Your second job is to keep flanking dps alive. Tanks should be your last priority.

2) Be unnoticed by everyone impact wise. If the enemy team thinks you're playing a throw pick, they won't put any resources into pressuring you.

1) Use your ult often, and always throw it deeper than you think it should be. You want your team to push into it so the enemy can't run from it. If they shoot the ult, that's less people shooting at your team, which is also good.
