Todays creature is the phantom jellyfish!
A phantom jellyfish in the deep sea. It is large, with long ribbonlike tentacles that almost look like shredded curtains. The Jellyfishes head is covered in a black membrane that can be seen through to reveal a red dulled by the membrane cover. A phantom jellyfish.

fun fact! fan lobsters are in the slipper lobster family (Scyllaridae), which aren't considered "True" lobsters - they live off the coasts of a few different oceanic and oceanic adjacent countries such as the Philippines, Australia, and Japan - a regular slipper lobster pictured below.

A small (under a food long) pink fan lobster, with a wide carapace extending over the rest of the body like a shield. The edges of the carapace has smooth spikes that grow smaller at the front of it's face, closer to a feathering affect. a top down perspective of a red fan lobster with a black background. This one has a wider carapace.
