Gosh-this brings back memories of the cats playing hockey in the kitchen with dead mice (MN, neighbors hoarded their trash on their back porch, attracted mice who decided to invade our dirt floor basement and shimmy up the baseboard heat pipes, spent a weekend caulking around every damn pipe)
