We have so many monarch caterpillars right now. I don't know if we should move them to another milkweed plant that has more leaves or if they can find it and make the journey on their own.
One larger and one smaller monarch caterpillar eat milkweed.

I am not sure what the official name of this sunflower type is, but it is one of the first to open in my garden, and I love it.

Thie is what I am using pto for today. These raised beds won't fill themselves.

I am working on my seed starting setup. I can't do anything more just yet. The cats must investigate and get bored of this area first.

Dang Girl Scouts were outside where we bought storage and organizing stuff. Inside that place was Valentine's and Easter themed treats. I don't celebrate either, but I do dress up Mr. Bones to justify his presence. We bought this and shared with the neighbor, who may not give any to her kids.

One of the best parts of living in North Carolina is that most of us get to stay home if we have snow or ice. It never sticks around long enough to matter, and we don't have enough snow removal equipment. I work from home though, so it isn't all snowball fights and snow angels.
The road and grass aalomgside it are covered in snow around sunrise.

I woke up early to walk around and admire the snow. We haven't had this much snow since 2018 (or maybe 2019).
It is barely sunrise, and in the dim light there is a large leafless tree and snow-covered barn in the dostance across the snowy field.
