If you're fluent in K-drama tears and K-pop choreo, maybe throw Harbin on your Hulu watchlist. It's a hard, engrossing, historical drama about the fight for Korean independence during Japanese occupation. If you're heavy into K-culture, maybe check out some of the history that shaped it

Saw The Wedding Banquet last night. Rom-coms aren't usually my thing but I've been a huge Anh fan since secretly watching Spa Night in high school (ironic, I know). I was totally moved. The film unlocked some rarely examined aspects of my diaspora experience and left me feeling unexpectedly hopeful
