I feel like it can be longer so long as after two years the money is no longer guaranteed. Front load it so it’s easier to move on, and if he’s still productive by then they wouldn’t have to cut him but can when needed

Was the first guy to come to mind last year when Hutch went down for me, but with the Bengals still trying to contend last year the thought bubble quickly burst on that. Now it seems much more realistic, but the contract he's going to demand might still be too prohibitive
