So I'm VERY late to watching #godzilla -1.0, long story. BUT, I really enjoyed it. Being a Godzilla fan for ages, this may have become one of my favorites. It strikes a great balance between Shikishima's "personal war" and just war, as well as survivor guilt etc. 1/2

It's kinda interesting because if you approach numbers the same way as Kanji then yeah you'd expect "specific stroke order" so it's not that surprising that other ways to write these would be confusing

Heh just saw a clip of a Japanese being outraged about the "Polish way" of writing 4.

It's true in the sense that I literally just had to change how I write 4 and 7 because Japanese could not comprehend the other way.

Especially the 4 but also the 7 if you'd strike it through

Hot take: Japan timezone is actually great for working with US. You get your half-day of meetings with California easily if you need to; You get the rest to actually work; You easily have almost whole workday if you need to overlap with EU.
