Oh, and the MC brings his Persian cat with him, and she chooses to become a player, rather than a pet, and is my FAVORITE! Her name is Princess Donut. The deeper the series goes the darker the plot, but how else would a dystopian sci fi work out?

Is this a reread? Dungeon Crawler Carl is part video game part DnD. Aliens have descended upon earth, and all remaining earthlings are offered an opportunity to win the planet back by battling in an 18 floor dungeon. It’s televised so the whole universe is watching humanity spiral

Many many times!! Haha, it’s my go to series for my morning commute! I’m ridiculously excited for Onyx Storm but I’m trying to remind myself that it’s also only book 3 of 5! So… not to be shocked with more cliff hangers.

I’m currently devouring the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman! I’m on book 6z It’s actually hilarious, and the twists are so insane! Not my normal romantasy, but I needed a palette cleanser between my holiday reads and Onyx Storm!
