I am heartbroken to hear the news that ROBERT E MCGINNIS has past away March 10th at the age of 99. One of the greatest American Illustrators ever is gone and not a single piece on the news anywhere about the man, his influence and his life.

I teach comics writing at Portland State University. Our final project is making a brand new comic book from scratch. So weekends like this I get a bunch of brand new comics from brand new voices that no one has ever seen before. It's the best. go make stuff!
