I finished annotating (most of) the translation with 8-4's assistance. I skipped a couple unfinished parts, but it's enough for the translator to properly start work on Monday! Yay!

Afaik the US government has specific laws that say a president can order the invasion of the Hague in order to retrieve any American who has been charged by the ICC

So, AI itself (both LLMs and diffusion models) are pretty cool technology in a vacuum
The problem anti-AI people have is it's being SEVERELY overhyped, it's being used to replace humans while doing a worse job, and it's being shoved into every single product now, even if it makes said product worse

tbh, the reason for this is because ESL speakers (and second language speakers in general) tend to learn the formal language first, before learning the informal language
Additionally, they might not have as good of a skill of "error detection" as native speakers do so they can't be sure
