The aurorae were quite dim to the naked eye, but still visible as a haze

My best clip from last night’s aurorae. This is a 30x sped up time-lapse. It’s a bummer that there’s a lens artifact smack dab in the middle of the frame, but what can ya do. I’ll drop some more clips in the replies below

I tried to catch some Orionid meteors last night in this time-lapse. No luck

Instead, here are some clouds rolling in like ghostly apparitions just in time for spooky season

Saturn through my telescope last night. Its rings are nearly edge-on to us right now, so they look remarkably thin. Reminds me of an olive on a toothpick 🫒🪐
