That said, it isn’t for everyone, especially if you have a history of being hurt by people who are willing to take advantage of that level of vulnerability. When all is said and done, it’s mainly about what you value and want out of life and interaction!

It’s definitely a hurdle. One that, I think, is a bit more easily overcome if you were blursed with ADHD. I think that with enough time, if you practice self-affirmation, give yourself grace, and maybe surround yourself with the right people, you can get there if you want to!
