Things I learned possibly today, but probably a few todays ago.
TIL: The Beatles tried to do a Lord of the Rings movie. They would have composed the music and starred (Lennon for Gollum, McCartney for Frodo, Harrison for Gandalf and Ringo for Sam). Kubrick was approached but declined (and Tolkien too was a no-go).
