I suspect that you may have increased the sales of the Bill Reid rose by posting that picture. It’s beautiful! I had a look around for one at the garden centre yesterday. It’s definitely going on my list of plants for next year.

We have had a season pass at the U of A Botanic Garden most years since the beginning of the pandemic. From spring to autumn, we try to go once a week, enjoying and observing the trees and flowers as they progress through the seasons.

We finished the last of our garden carrots in early November. They were so tasty, sweet, and crunchy that I’m seriously considering planting most of our small garden with carrots this year.
