We show how various aspects of working environment in field locations produce negative gendered dynamics, such as exclusion, subtle (and not-so-subtle) discrimination, and #SEA (3/4).

We draw on survey, archival, and interview evidence to paint a concerning picture: women working for the #UN Secretariat in the field (for example, in #peacekeeping or political missions) have less satisfactory workplace experiences than their male colleagues (2/4).
