So pretty! Great work. I love your color choices!

Here's the version I made for my kid for college. He picked his colors, and I loved them! It was good therapy when I was grieving his older brother. All that repetition was so calming. 🧶

That's just par for the crafting course. This is a disaster!

I'm seeing a big Hollywood movie explosion...but with yarn! <snort!>

"I've tried knitting several times, and it's always ended in disaster."

What I'm envisioning:

Yes, I sometimes have to frog things that go awry, but not as often as you'd think. Frankly, not as often as I have to do with patterned knitting. So many patterns are really not good! (And they're also often boring!) 2/2

🧶 I made this pattern up as I went along. It's beaded, sequined and cabled, merino/silk--soft as can be! I love how the bottom looks like roots. The cables are continuous, even under the underarms. Darned good planning for making it on the fly! My husband calls it my Cleopatra sweater. I love it!

I dyed the "stained glass" bit of this cashmere/silk yarn for this sweater vest for my guy, and I'm happy with how it came out. At first I thought it was going to be too green, but knitted up, I think it works! 🧶

P.S. Bluesky needs a dyeing feed! Thanks, @jakei.bsky.social
