Heartbroken. How do those of us living in red states keep hope alive when the leaders of states who can actually fight for change bend the knee? The democrats holding the line was helping me feel just a little bit safer in this authoritarian regime. Poof. Gone.

I think the writing is already on the wall for this one, unfortunately. But I’ll take anyone over what we’ve got right now. Sad to say.

I’ll so ashamed this is one of my senators. Sigh.

I’m one of those people. Losing my sense of smell has been extremely hard on me. I miss the smell of fresh baked cookies and fresh cut grass. I’ve tried all the therapies and none of them work. What is most frustrating is I did everything right, got my vaccines every year, masked, social distanced.

It’s like the chances of being eaten by a shark on dry land level of chance they have.

The problem is, none of those people will be getting into heaven. They would be here for the years of strife trying to be forgiven. You have a better chance as an atheist to get into heaven than the proclaimed Christians creating all this havoc.

I can trump that, try living with a corgi! I bet you money, my Bella sheds more than a Husky, or at least would make a strong tie.

This could happen to Jade. She got called a boy today even though she has breasts. She’s always been a “tom boy” even before she decided she was gay.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that — it’s unconscionable that this is happening in our country again. It defies logic and reason. I can’t believe this is our country.

I worry about it all the time. A lot of my closest friends and family are either LGBTQ+, BIPOC, or Canadian! Every day I wake up and hope this is all some bad nightmare, but it is real life and beyond ridiculous that this is our country. I’ve never been so ashamed to be American.

But why a spoon, cousin?

Well, for a change of pace, now you can turn your attention to calling your representatives instead. We can’t cave, that is what they want — for us to give up. I’m fighting the fatigue and sadness, too.

He called those four out as a warning. Remember he always has a reason. He is trying to get them in line.
