Bumblebees love penstamons, virga falls in front of the Sandias, and agaves bloom while the world goes crazy. Thank goodness for Mother Nature’s grounding abilities.

Riding in the village today: There is water in the acequia,ducks on the ditch bank (opposite the horses), wind in the manes, and snow up in the Sandías.

I can’t speak for the state of the union today,but on the local level I was touched by kindness of strangers. We came upon a bucket with flowers so folks can enjoy a bouquet! We didn’t let the horses eat them, but we did take some to decorate their bridles. #newmexico #corrales #riorancho

Things are really worrisome in the USA this week, but thank goodness for gorgeous #newmexico sunrises. There is still beauty to be found.
