My favourite all-bike path One Dozen Bridges tour of Ottawa. In order: Flora—Hurdman—417 train bridge—Odawa—Union St.—MacDonald Cartier—(important SKIP next two)—Chaudière—Chief William Commanda—Champlain—Portage—Alexandra—Corkstown. Plus the fabulous Maison Oddo bakery—as it is Mother’s Day.

I’m proud of the work we did designing this training in support of Canada and our allies. I will miss the fine folks at the Combat Training Centre in Gagetown.

The AVC does what it can to make it right with Christopher Griffin. I respect that.

Perhaps it’s time hire more Canadian faculty.
Can you imagine a US college crumbling if a couple of foreign profs felt offended?
The first artist-in-residence at the University of Prince Edward Island’s veterinary college has quit after being told to take down a painting of lemmings that he says incited complaints from American faculty over the political nature of the work.
This Canadian college artist-in-residence’s painting of lemmings was aimed at Donald Trump. He says he was told to take it down — so he quit
Christopher Griffin says the move came after complaints from U.S. faculty at the University of Prince Edward Island’s veterinary college.

Remember that little fortune cookie game where you add a couple of cheeky words after the fortune? Trump is like that. He is narcissistic. The words are “for me.” And it’s not a joke.

I will repeal the ACA and replace it with something great (for me).

Canada only works as a state (for me).

Carney: Canada never ever will be part of America in any way, shape, or form. We didn’t ask for this fight, but Canadians are always ready when someone else drops the gloves.

Honestly, this guy. He’s so upbeat, so genuine, so optimistic. A bridge-builder. And this video shot in the snow is visually stunning.

A thumbs up from PMJT in BC. Political changes will come this year, so glad he had some downtime with family. (And conditions at Red were very good.)

My winter ride—1998 Trek with studded tires. I call it my spiky bikie.
Also, it’s faster to bike to the Riverside Hospital from downtown than drive, although the George McIlraith Bridge is poorly maintained for cyclists.

I enrol in the Royal Canadian Navy every time a Top Gun movie comes out—which means I completed military basic training in my teens and again in my fifties. Now taking time out from my civvy job to design and develop training in the CAF.
