I think you need to look up the definition of racism, cause that ain’t it.

Have you ever played Love Letter? It’s the most challenging but simple game I’ve ever played (despite the corny premise).

Thanks for pointing that out. It makes a lot of sense…like the flip side of the white saviour coin.

Again, sounds like you support safe supply.

What if harm reduction programs like safe consumption sites and safe supply are proven to realize significant cost savings in emergency medical, hospital, policing, and justice systems? Is it the tax dollars you really care about, or the invalid lifestyle?

Sounds like you support safe supply.

I agree. But I don’t think involuntary treatment will is the right option, unless someone is a danger to themselves or others. My original argument is that addicts (fentanyl or other) can have “valid” lifestyles. But I don’t expect to convince you of that. I’ll stop here.

If you’re trying to say that fentanyl is disproportionately killing First Nations peoples and action should taken to fix this, I agree. If it’s that the government should put these people in involuntary treatment for their own good, I suggest you look into the history of residential schools.

What is your argument here?

That drug affects can have “valid” lifestyles and contribute to society, especially when they have access to a safe supply.

We don’t know each other but I work in public policy and you are one of the few voices I listen to and trust. You’ve helped me be better at my job and I’m very grateful. I’m so sorry you are going through this.
